For the past 2 months I have been a member of Truly Rich Club of Bo Sanchez, everyday I received GodWhispers, a kind of short notes as though God is saying Hi and Hello with me like a breakfast coffee in the morning which slowly while I savor the cup your system starts up and the mechanism of your moves and brains begins to create and build, be it ideas or a product of imagination or simply a day to day work routine. It is a unique and remarkable thing that a group of words can change or influence anyone. Is it because words has power? I can assume that is true just as in the wisdom of Dr. Jose Rizal said, "The pen is mightier than the sword". But, just like any power it has source and that we all need to search and harness and practice it always as if we are sharpening the sword. This way it reminds me of the late Technical Expert Ernie Baron, he said, "Knowledge is Power, If you don't have knowledge you have no Power." Where did you think they got those brilliant knowledge or ideas? These amazing people have lived and died studying life and how they can make things better for everyone. They made sacrifices to acquire knowledge and experiences of various sorts the only difference with the average man is their dedication and faith which are inner desires that cannot be quenched even if failures after failure comes in their way. They are optimistic and idealistic people who believes that failure is not an option only results.
We can say ideas is analogous or mixture of knowledge form into something beneficial that anyone may learn and acquire it to make it concrete like the cars, computers, LCDs, Internet and other things that became a way of life of the present day. Before it was just a pigment of imagination of ideas and Man was able to transform it to reality for his benefits and consumption.
What is a dream?
A dream is synonymous to your passion, aspiration, mission in life, a pursuit like a job and sometimes an ambition of you want to be in the future. Dreams can be an object of affection or your innermost desire. There was a old quote by Rizal he said,"Everyone works for an object. Remove it and you reduce everyone to inaction". This is the very reason that can make or break anyone in his lifetime. The irony of it only a handful of people who were successful have started young and worked towards their dream. And many have been working in the prime of their lives without really defining and going towards their dream. Others, simply exist and wandering in time trying to make a living for their family's sake limiting themselves of their potentialities or God given Gifts that might have provided them the fulfillment or perhaps what a common entrepreneur would say a passion for excellence.
To answer the question in this Synopsis:
People will always admire an intelligent and respectable person even if he has the worst vices there is known to man. However, earning people's trust and confidence can be more complicated and has a lot more twist than a novelist or a writer can ever imagine. Look at Senator Villar he is intelligent, popular, richest man in the senate, season politician and respectable in his right but how come he was not elected as president after Mrs. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's term of office. I know anybody who reads this knows this answer. But even us may fall short on what to take or what scheme we could employ to earn the trust of the people we would like to serve.
I can merely response to this by experience and my everyday interaction with people who I deal with. The fact each of us has a different way of approaching people and saying things to them, I noticed that even though you have the same dialogue to deliver to a single or many persons it is always a factor on how much emotion you would express it to others. Some would contradict, the eye contacts is a big factor. Yes, but not everyone will look at you in the eye or have the occasion of seeing you in person. The majority of people, it is the heart that discerns whether to trust this person or not. The way we feel about that person matters. For instance, I have a close friend who never comes in any appointment on time that even the clients or customers doesn't want him to be part of the project but I always patiently assured them that this person works passionately, diligently and what is more he has my complete trust. Another example, I have been working and searching for investors in my startup business in Real Estate. I have presented my two year proposal at least to more than 10 people already for the past 2 weeks or more. Some of them are my friends, classmates and acquaintances. Most of my friends and classmates like my idea but they have other priorities as well. They would rather settle them first than risk their money on a newly launched venture. I understood them they were just protecting and securing their precious resources. But, you know to my surprise a person of my acquaintance whom for more than ten years I have not talked with, trusted me and accepted my offer without any hesitation as if she knew me for a long time. That I believe is a classic example of a person who talks and listen with her heart. If you could do and execute that with all sincerity any ideas or business you would conceptualize, people will trust and the most amazing is they will believe in you.
But one final advise, you have to be close to God as possible because this key can open doors to heaven or hell. Be forewarned as well as be blessed.
